Inclusion Works FAQ
The City does not charge a fee for this program. Many of the inclusionary actions are free, while some items that will help you go the extra mile, may incur costs. However, the changes you make should open the doors to a greater customer base.
You may apply online. After you complete the application online, an Inclusion Works support team member will contact you to confirm receipt, answer any questions, and schedule a site visit and training. The City is embracing a culture of inclusion. It is our hope that by participating in this program, you will expand your customer base and all will feel welcome.
Inclusion Works is a voluntary program which we believe will help grow your business and recognize your desire to provide a welcoming environment that is accessible to everyone. As for ADA compliance, that is federal law and it is mandated by the Department of Justice.

Yes! Your business will get credit for any of the listed items that you are already practicing. Be sure to check the appropriate boxes, and be able to show documentation of these actions when the City representative visits your site.
Once you have completed your inclusionary actions, contact us and we will come out for another visit.
As far as we know, there are no other programs like Boynton Beach’s Inclusion Works Business Recognition Program. You and your business would be pioneers and trend setters!
We can connect you to agencies who will match a talented individual to your business needs. Several agencies pay the individual’s salary while in training, provide free supported employment through a job coach, to help with any employment questions/needs, and serve as a resource for as long as the individual is employed with you. You may also be eligible for tax credits. It is a win-win! Ask us about Supported Employment and Work Experience opportunities.
