Historical Note: Butch Moser started fishing at a very young age. By age 13, he was working as a mate on several charter boats. After receiving his own captain’s license, he led his own charter service. He switched to freshwater fishing and as of 2019 was leading fishing expeditions at Lake Ida, Delray, Florida.
Scope and Content Note: Clippings and photographs detailing off-shore fishing from Boynton Inlet. Includes a scrapbook with newsclippings of “Captain of the week” articles, tournament standings, and articles on the boating accidents involving the Kit-Dan (1962) and the Two Georges (1964). Photographs include photographs of charter boat patron group portraits (1960s) and photographs of Moser (1950s and 2000s).
