Palm Beach Watercolor Society Exhibit in Library

The Art in Public Places program will unveil the latest exhibit by the Palm Beach Watercolor Society at an artist reception, Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Boynton Beach City Library, 208 S. Seacrest Blvd., from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. 

Nineteen artists will display 34 artworks consisting of water colors and mixed media such as acrylics, batik and collage were judged by the Arts Commission Advisory Board. The pieces were ranked based on composition, use of color, emotional impact and technique. 

Awards will be presented at the artist reception held on the second floor of the library. Prizes will be awarded: $300 to the first place winner, $200 to the second place winner, and $100 to the third place winner. Honorable mention awards will also be presented. Refreshments will be provided. 

The exhibit will remain open until January 4, 2017.
