The City’s Art in Public Places program will unveil “Artist Reflections,” the latest exhibit by the Women in the Visual Arts at an Artist and Awards Reception, Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the Boynton Beach City Library, 208 S. Seacrest Blvd., from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Twenty artists will display 37 artworks consisting of watercolors, oil, pastel, photography and mixed media such as acrylics and collage. The artworks were judged by Jeff Jakub, a nationally known award-winning artist based in Washington, North Carolina. The pieces were ranked based on composition, use of color, emotional impact and technique.

Awards will be presented at the reception, which will be held on the second floor of the library. There will be prizes awarded for first, second and third place, as well as honorable mention and judge’s recognition. Refreshments will be provided.

The exhibit will remain open until May 2, 2017.
