Traveling Sauna to visit Boynton Beach November 18

Traveling Sauna to visit Boynton Beach

Boynton area residents will be able to experience an authentic Finnish sauna on Saturday, November 18, 2017.  The Traveling Sauna has been touring the United States in celebration of
Finland’s Centennial this year.  Earlier this year, the City of Boynton Beach and the City of Rauma, Finland established a Sister Cities relationship, another reason to bring the Sauna to Boynton.

The wood-burning Sauna will be at Intracoastal Park located at 2240 N. Federal Highway in Boynton Beach from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday, November 18 and includes a changing room, (bathing suits are required) and shower.  Individuals and small groups of up to 10 people, can reserve the Sauna for one hour.  People will also be able to walk through it if they do not want to experience a sauna.

Reservations are required.  Sauna admission is $10 /hour.  Souvenirs will be available for purchase as well as authentic Finnish food.

Greater Boynton Beach Sister Cities is an affiliate of Sister Cities International which matches cities in the United States with cities abroad to promote understanding and cooperation between countries through cultural, educational, humanitarian and economic exchanges.  Boynton Beach also has Sister Cities in Qufu, China and Les Cayes, Haiti.
