80M Gallons of Water Sent to Aquifer at The Links At Boynton Beach

The City of Boynton Beach’s municipal golf course, The Links at Boynton Beach Golf Course, received over twenty inches of rain during the last two weeks of May. The Links at Boynton Beach has been designed to return storm water to the aquifer, in order to produce potable water. Within this two week period, approximately 27,000 gallons of water has accumulated per acre inch.  As a result, the 150 acre golf course has added 80 million gallons of water to the aquifer.
