City Receives $6,250 Needed For 9-11 Memorial

The citizens of Boynton Beach, and surrounding communities, have quickly responded to the City’s request for donations. Within 30 days, $6,250 has been raised and will be utilized to create and erect a 9-11 Memorial. The monument dedication will be held in late September or October of 2013.

The City acknowledges the Veterans Council of Boynton Beach for their assistance with this project, including selecting an appropriate location within Veteran’s Memorial Park. If all donations received are not needed in the building and placement of the memorial, remaining funds will assist the Veterans with future monuments in Veteran’s Memorial Park.
