On July 16, 2019, the City Commission resolved (R19-077) to set a proposed millage rate of 7.9000 which has been computed to fund the General Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20. The rolled-back rate is 7.5418. The first public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget, will take place on September 5, 2019 at 6:30 P.M., at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, Florida.
The City has scheduled public workshops to review the FY2019-20 proposed budget as follows:
• Monday, July 15 beginning at 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 16 beginning at 10 a.m.
• Wednesday, July 17 beginning at 2 p.m. (if needed)
All meetings will be held at Intracoastal Park clubhouse, 2240 North Federal Highway and are open to the public.
During the workshops, the Commission will hear a general overview of the FY 2019 -20 proposed budget. Public comments will be welcomed. An ASL Interpreter will be provided. Assistive listening devices will be available.
The City Commission adopts a Preliminary Fire Assessment Resolution and a Tentative Millage Rate Resolution at these workshops.
