Boynton Beach City Little Library Policy

The Boynton Beach City Little Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, please try to bring some to share with that same library, or another in your area, if at all possible.

Staff from the Boynton Beach City Library takes care of basic maintenance such as keeping the Little Library clean, inviting, and stocked, but it is also up to everyone that uses the Little Libraries to help keep it stocked with good reads for adults, teens, and kids.

Library materials that are checked out from the Boynton Beach City Library must not be returned in the Little Libraries. It is not a book return for borrowed library materials. The Library is not responsible for missing items that were placed in the Little Libraries.

Little Library users that wish to donate books should refrain from books that are unkind or inappropriate in nature. This is a public resource that should be respected by all that use this service.

Boynton Beach City Little Libraries are available to the public at Ocean Front Park, Sara Sims Park, and Barrier-Free Park.

The viewpoints, opinions, beliefs, and content of the materials found in the Boynton Beach City Little Libraries do not necessarily represent the viewpoints, beliefs, and opinions of the City of Boynton Beach, the Boynton Beach City Library, or of their elected and appointed officers, officials, employees, and agents.

All persons utilizing the Boynton Beach City Little Libraries and their contents hereby knowingly and freely assume all risks of injury, harm, damage, and loss related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from any acts or omissions of the City of Boynton Beach, Boynton Beach City Library, or of their elected and appointed officers, officials, employees, and agents.
