Borrowing Policy
The Boynton Beach City Library Borrowing Policy was revised in January 2021 to enhance your Library experience.

Boynton Beach City Little Library Policy
The Boynton Beach City Little Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book.

Computer Policy
All users must have their valid Boynton Beach City Library card in their possession at the time they sign-in for computer use.

Faxing Services
The Library provides faxing services to the public at the Reference Desk, second floor.

Fine Policy
With the exception of laptops, the library will assess replacement fee charges for lost and damaged items or components not returned within a 7-day grace period of the final due date.

Holds Policy
To reserve library material when you are in the library, either go online to our catalog, or fill out a white reserve request form.

The collection development policy serves as a guide for selection, acquisition, organization, and retention of materials by establishing responsibilities and a process for addressing Library user concerns.

Photocopy Services
The Library provides photocopy services to the public at the Reference Desk, second floor.

Scanning Services
The Library has the necessary equipment for customers to scan documents for free.

Quiet Study Nook Guidelines
Rooms accommodate single groups of up to 4 people. Cubicles are single-person seating spaces.

Unattended Children
The Boynton Beach City Library encourages children to use its facility and services. The safety and behavior of the child in the library, however, lies solely with the parent or guardian or assigned chaperon of that child, and not with library staff.

Virtual Zone Policy
Virtual Zone Users must have a valid Boynton Beach City Library (BBCL) card and be high school students in grades 9 through 12.
