4/13/26 - Wilson Park Maintenance
The multipurpose field at Wilson Park is closed for maintenance. The field will reopen at the conclusion of the project.
1/27/26 - Pioneer Canal Park Boat Ramp
The boat ramp at Pioneer Canal Park will close for the reconstruction of the boat ramp, resurfacing and addition of parking spaces, among other improvements.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, February 2 and is anticipated to take approximately six months to complete.
We apologize for the inconvenience to boaters and thank everyone for their patience while we complete work on this important project.
UPDATED 3/3/26
The boat ramp structure has been removed and work has begun to prepare for installation of the new boat ramps.
UPDATED 4/2/26
Crews have finished building the temporary water retention and are now pumping the area dry. This allows the crew to prep the canal bank and start placing the pre-made concrete slabs that form the boat ramp.
UPDATED 5/12/26
Crews have installed pilings for the new dock and will soon start work on the dock.
