Quilters Group
Join a community of experienced quilters working together on unique, handmade projects that support the library.
The mission of the group is to celebrate and support quilting as an art form while building a warm, creative community within the library. This inspirational group is a wonderful place to connect with others, share ideas, and spark your creativity.
The group meets every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Please note that this is not an instructional class; however, the library offers separate sewing skills classes that can enhance your experience and help you grow your abilities.
Our Quilters are encouraged to use their talents to create items that benefit the library. Past projects have included quilts, tote bags, table runners, and more—if you can sew it, the library can sell it! We also collaborate on group quilts that all members are welcome to take part in.
All proceeds from sales directly support the library, and no individual receives personal profit.
As a library-sponsored group, we provide sewing machines and materials specifically for creating items that benefit the library. Materials donated or supplied for the group are intended for library-focused projects only.
The Quilters warmly welcome donations of fabric, works in progress, and sewing supplies. Your contributions help keep our creativity flowing!
